I am sure that everybody love to compare things around, BUT have you ever thought, how would you feel if you are being compared to other people around? Do you like it?
In class, I have shown you the use of Venn Diagram in comparing and contrasting items. Now, I would like you to surf the net, and search for two gadgets in the market, that you like. For example nokia and Sony erickson handphone. Compare them, and tell me the similarities and differences that they have. Which one would you promote to me as a future buyer?

For me, nokia is much better than sony ericsson. Firstly, nokia more friendly user than sony ericsson, nokia more comfortable when typing messages because nokia keypad button and screen size more larger so we can see cleary to reply faster and accurate. Then, nokia dimension size more smaller and thick compare to sony ericsson so easily to handle. Second, nokia more compatible, we can get more free theme and softwore at the internet while, sony ericsson need to buy and required license key before installation. Lastly, the name itself, nokia company more focusing on handphone while sony company need to have focusing others electronic device like notebook (Vaio) and camera (Cybershot) so the quality of nokia hand phone product is better compare to sony handphone product.

back to the real topic, after I surf the internet, I found an interesting product to be compared which is ANNA SUI CUTEX and ELIANTO CUTEX. i've been use and try both and ELIANTO cutex is much better because it comes in many elligence colors and the price is reasonable. Elianto cutex can dry in short time so the users can change nail colors as much as they can. but remamber, try no to change nail color everyday because it will damage your nail.

It also the same with me, I do not like being compare and I would avoid comparing others. For me, every person in this world has their own speciality. So, I usually use this compare skill when I am doing my shopping. Of course I will choose the best among the best and would give affordable price.
Move on to our real topic, the gadget that I would like to compare are MP3 and MP4. The major similarity that MP3 and MP4 players have is that both the formats are compression technologies. Both MP3 and MP4 players convert standard analogue audio tracks such as those on a commercial compact disc that has a number of musical tracks on it into smaller digital files that can be played on the computer. An mp3 player is a type of a digital audio player. Digital music files can be stored and organized, as well as played in such a player. While an mp4 player is also a digital audio player, but it is based on the Flash software and one can use it to view text files, as well as images and videos. Therefore, for those how seek for a much more feature rather than only music, I think the best gadget is MP4.

Now I want to share with all of you about using the upax number (celcom) and hotlink or maxis number. For me, upax number is more save compare to hotlink. It is very suitable for students. Upax number is very save for all numbers compared to hotlink. The rate of call and send message for all numbers is same but hotlink number is only save for the same territory. Then, upax number only can use until our age 26 years old but hotlink no limits for age but i think this is not a problem for us. As the conclusion, I prefer upax number in my live. So I promote to all of the students to use upax number. It more save compared to others. heee~

But, some people do not like to make a comparing and contrasting between each other because for them everyone have their own speciality. Although, thousand opinion will come out, just be ourselves. Just make life is simple.
Now, i would like to make a similarities and differences between laptop and dekstop. They are use to make a job or assignment. They are also can be use to play a game like counter strikes. Then, laptop use current source to recharge the battery and dekstop use current source to switch on it. Both of them still use current source but with different function.
There are several differences between them. First, laptop we can bring anywhere but dekstop just stay at one place. Second, we can see from their size, where laptop is smaller than dekstop. Then, dekstop is heavy compare to laptop.

ReplyDeleteIn my point of view, of cause I don't like being compare to others either it is good or bad. I came from a large family, I have 8 siblings all together and I'm the youngest. So, being compare, one to another is part of routine. When my parent comparing our ability, some will feel proud and some will feel down. It's alright for those that can cope with this situation and make it as a challenge. But how about those who take it negatively??
So, to be a good parents, even though they keep comparing their childrens, they also have to learn how to manage their children's emotions. That's what my parents used to do.
Even though i don't like being compared, but in real life, there are no such thing that we can avoid this situation. It is part of our life. But what make it differents is how we cope with the situation.
We are what we think we are..!! If you take it negatively, you will be negative and vice versa.

ReplyDeleteAbout the gadgets, i would like to share about 2nd generation iPod Touch and iPhone.The iPod Touch and the iPhone share the same hardware platform and are controlled by the same iPhone OS operating system.These two gadgets are almost identical when viewed from the front.however, the 2nd generation iPod Touches are said to have a yellower cast/tint to the display, as compared to the iPhone or the original iPod Touch.Besides, the applications processor inside the 2nd generation iPod Touch runs faster than the processor inside the iPhone 3G. Hence, i think the 2nd iPod Touch will be the good choice.

I think it is not good for us. Everybody has the different characteristic. In addition, everyone have their own ability. It is cannot take out to compare between a person. People should not compare themselves because we are always difference.
Just now I have searching the internet about nokia and sony ericsson handphone. The similarities are both are handphone. Moreover, both are using battery. Both have cover to protect the surface. But, both have difference internet. Nokia have 2.0 Web browser whereas sony ericsson have 3.0 web broswer. Furthermore, Nokia have less capability memory card than sony ericsson. That is 2.0 and 4.0 memory card each other. In addition, sony ericsson have video call whereas nokia only speaker phone. In my opinion, sony ericsson is the better handphone product than nokia.

I am not going to talk about human but about thing that have around me. I want to compare about laptop and PC Computer. Actually they have many differences and simillarity that we can observe with our naked eye. For example, their size which is for laptop it have small size than PC. Their weight also different, which is laptop is more light than pc that so very heavy. Their price also different, laptop is more expensive than PC. PC can be use by using CPU, witout it PC will be meanless but laptop will operate by itself because all the program is in the laptop itself.
Besides the differences, they also have simillarity, such as, both of them have monitor or screen. Besides that they have keyboard as their input hardware. They also can do the same work.
I think laptop is more popular today than PC because laptop can be bring anywhere and will make people easy to use it.

ReplyDeleteI have also been one of the subject of comparison in my family. My family, including all my cousins, are a big family, therefore I have 4 more cousins who are same age with me. So, you can imagine how it would be like being compared, and I know that it can't be avoided. During the school days, our academic results were being compared. Sometimes, our co-curriculum activities could be compared too. Until day, in the age of 21, our universities that we were currently studying, can be the subject of comparison too. Thus, I 'm already "immune" to become a subject of comparison.
Sony Ericsson and Nokia brand handphones.. Wow! It's hard to decide. IF you ask for my PERSONAL opinion, I think that it's really depends on the buyer. IF the buyer wants to be stylish, I will recommend Sony Ericsson. This is because the appearance of Sony Ericsson is more creative and suitable for teenagers. IF the buyer is an adult, or not very into fashion or designs of the handphones, Nokia would be my choice to be recommended for the buyer. This is because Nokia brand handphones are more user-friendly. The appearance of handphone made it more suitable for those who are serious or formal look persons.
Another thing I want to add is, Sony Ericsson tends to install more latest technology into their handphones. For example, Sony Ericsson's handphone have the "shake" function, but Nokia don't. And I believe teenagers will like this function, if compared to adults.
So, in my opinion, to choose between Nokia and Sony Ericsson, I think the decision is depends on the buyer. For me, I think I choose Sony Ericsson.

Cindy has a really good point. I do agree with her that parent nowadays seems like taking comparison between the children is a must in their routine life. Sometime people think that comparison can make someone improve themselves and have a better result from the others.

On the other hand, happy is mean enjoying or showing or marked by joy or pleasure or good fortune whereas sad is experiencing or showing sorrow or unhappiness. Happy people always showing positive attitude whereas sad people always showing negative attitude.

There are many things that we used to compare and contrast. Sony Ericsson and Nokia. Sony Ericsson have come up with very user friendly design. Thus the sound system of Sony's phone is much better than Nokia's.
I'm agree with Cindy that Sony Ericsson's phone we can install more software than Nokia's. But Nokia latest version can not be installed with latest software.

however, i don't like to be compared with others.After surfing, i like to make a compare and contrast about Dell XPS M1330 laptop and ACER aspire 5535-5050 laptop.
There are many things in a product we can compared. For example,the weight and display size of dell laptop is more smaller than acer laptop that is the weight of dell laptop is 4lbs while acer laptop is 6 lbs.
The similarities of this two product are the operating system, 250GB hard-disk capacity, WI-FI technology and 2GB installed memory in this laptop.The operating system for Acer and Dell is Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium.

A pencil uses graphite, commonly known as lead, to write on paper where as a pen uses ink...Another difference is that a pencil allows you to do more shading to pictures where as your very limited to a few shade differences with a pen...Pencil graphite can be eased but most pen ink cannot...With a pen you have a chance of it leaking ink and staining your clothes which will be almost impossible to wash out but a pen does not leak and you can wash graphite stains off your clothing...With a pen the ink allows you to be able to write on more surfaces than a pencil...

ReplyDeleteToday I love to compare between Hindi movie and Malaysia movie. During the era of Tan Sri P. Ramlee, there are many song that included in every of his movie. That was also the same in the Hindi movie during that time.
But, as we can look know, the Malaysia movie have lost its quality. For example, "Anak Mami The Movie", is such a bored movie to watch as there a no good camera technique that be used. Besides that, the movie have a very clumsy plot.
But, as we can look in the Hindi movie, their movie have be one of the best movie to be watch. No wonder their actor, Datuk Shahrukh Khan have be selected as 50 powerful man in the world. Hindi movie have a good technique in using the camera enevthough their camera is not good as in the Hollywood.
So, as for conclusion, Hindi movie is far more better than our locol movie.

Both are made for assist a person with vision problem, either for long sight, or short sight. But, there are a big different between this two things.
Spectacles are bigger than lens. It also heavier than lens. If we wearing spectacles, people around us will know that we have sight problem. differ when we are wearing lens, people will never know about it, unless we tell them, or the lense have a colour which can be see by others. more over,spectacles give less risk in bacteria infected because it is not directly touching the kornea, but this is a major risk when we are wearing contact lens.Every risk can be avoid if we use the tools with the right procedure...Thank You!!!

For me, I do not like to compare because comparing is really tiring, it needs us to think which choice is better or the best by considering on many aspects. But sometime we do really have to make a decision in certain situation by comparing. Like madam said Nokia and Sony Ericson hand phone, both of them have their similarities and differences in advantages and disadvantages, but only one of them can be chose. Besides, I do agree with the points stated by Ahmad Kamal, so I prefer Nokia instead of Sony Ericson.

But since I’ve told to compare a gadget, let me suggest something to you. It’s hand phone from Nokia and Sony. Do I need to compare both of it again? Yes, because both of the gadget from this company hand phone have very nice design. It is Nokia 6131 and Sony W850i.
It is a lot thing that we can compared between both of this gadgets but let me just compare it commonly. Both of it are us as for communication, have camera, mp3 and so on. But what make me suggest you to choose w850i is because it has very nice design and comes in many different colour compare to nokia 6131 which only have black and white colour. Nokia 6131 is slip phone while sony w850i is slide phone. Since I’ve already use nokia 6131, maybe after this I will ask my dad to buy sony w850i for me. And for you, I suggest you to use sony phone because nokia phone function is quite the same in every design the made. Huhu… I think that all.. thanks.

ReplyDeleteI would like to compare between radio and television. These two things are very close to us because form these two things we can get so many imformations. The similarities between these two is both are used to entertain people. By listening to the radio, we will be entertain by the songs that are played by the dj. For television, we are entertain by the shows that we watched. Other similarities is both are electric devices. There are a lot of electrics components inside radio and television. And the last similarities that I want to share is both of these two things produce sound. Of course these two things produce sound. If not, how can we be entertain if there is no sound produce by these two things. Now I would like to share the differences between these two things. First differences is both are come in various features. Both have different shapes and also colours. Usually, radio is more small compared to the television. Other differences is, television will produce us pictures. For example, if we watch movie at televison, we just do not listen to the sound but also watch te movie. But for radio, there will be just sound produce. I think that's all from me now.

Love is any of a number of emotions and experiences related to a sense of strong affection and attachment. The word love can refer to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from generic pleasure to intense interpersonal attraction. The word love is both a verb and a noun. Love is not a single feeling but an emotion built from two or more feelings. Anything vital to us creates more than one feeling, and we also have feelings about our feelings.This diversity of uses and meanings, combined with the complexity of the feelings involved, makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, even compared to other emotional states.
Being compared either to your siblings or friends throughout your life is certainly common things done by people around us. For me, it’s something we cannot avoid of so just accept them. However, that doesn’t mean that I agree with what people think of me. We definitely can’t spend the rest of our life explaining to others about our advantages as everyone has their own good and bad side. So, please yourself first. Nowadays, computer has become one of the most important things in our life. Most of people now need a computer to do their work. That’s why company owner nowadays prefer to hire worker that has computer skills, at least typing skills. Student also needs a computer to study because most of lecture notes were given in multimedia type, such as Microsoft word. Say goodbye to thick textbook and handout that can easily lost. There are two types of computer which are desktop type and notebook type or well-known as laptop. There are some similarities and differences between desktop and laptop.
As for the similarities, both computers use same operating system. They also have same program and software used. Both of them have keyboard with is use for typing. In addition, both of desktop and laptop have screen, speaker and mouse to use with.
There also some differences between desktop and laptop. Desktop is bigger than laptop. Because of that, desktop has more potentially to be upgraded. Desktop has more RAM memory and hard disk space than laptop. That’s why, desktop can run bigger program than laptop. Meanwhile, laptop also has some advantages. Because of the smaller size of laptop, people can bring their laptop to anywhere they want to. A laptop bag also provided if we buy a laptop. Laptop has a battery system to operate that give it an advantage which is people can use it anywhere even without an electric socket. But as for desktop, it only can operate after there are electric socket nearby to supply electric to operate it. Not only is that, because of laptop a technology which adapted from desktop, so usually each laptop already has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and webcam which come as one package with it. But as for desktop, all that latest technology does not come with it. However, these technologies had already made which come as a compatible device which can connect to a desktop.

We compare in many aspect. So, I would like to compare about men and women. There are many type of scomparison that we can use to compare between men and women. I just want to compare in three type of subject which are relationships, handwriting and the tlephone.
First, a man does not call a relationship a relationship - he refers to it as “that time when me and Suzie were boinking on a semi-regular basis.” When a relationship ends, a woman will cry and pour her heart out to her girlfriends, and she will write a poem titled “All Men Are Idiots.” Then she will get on with her life. A man has a little more trouble letting go. Six months after the breakup - at 3 am early on a Sunday morning - he will call and say “I just wanted you to let you know you ruined my life, and I’ll never forgive you, and I hate you, and you’re a total floozy. But I want you to know there’s always a chance for us.” This is known as the “I Hate You/I Love You” drunken phone call, that 99% of all men have made at least once.
To their credit, men do not decorate their penmanship. They just chicken-scratch. Women use scented, colored stationery and they dot their “i’s” with circles and hearts. Women use ridiculously large loops in their p’s and g’s. It is a royal pain to read a note from a woman. Even when she’s dumping you, she’ll put a smiley face at the end of the note.
And the last one,Men see the telephone as a communications tool. They use the telephone to send short messages to other people. A woman can visit her girlfriend for two weeks, and upon returning home, she will call the same friend and they will talk for three hours.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Madam Azlinda said that everybody loves to compare things around, but it is for their own sake, right? It is to decide which one is better for themselves. Now, I would like to compare and contrast between two gadgets that share the same name – MOUSE. They are not real mice, of course. It is between the conventional ball mouse and sophisticated optical mouse. To compare, both ball and optical mouse are used as a computer pointing device. They are used to point and move the cursor inside the computer screen. As to contrast, ball mouse needs maintenance and constant cleaning to keep its performance as its best. Meanwhile, optical mouse doesn’t need cleaning at all. Furthermore, optical mouse is more accurate than ball mouse. Another thing to contrast is the surface that both mice can work on. Optical mouse can only works on smooth, but not slippery surface. On the other hand, ball mouse can work on both smooth and slippery surfaces.
Therefore, as a future buyer, I would like to promote you optical mouse.

I'm gonna go for DVD games as their grafic and resolution is higher than conventional CD games. Moreover, DVDs give us option of having many good games in one copy unlike CD games.

Well, I would like to compare on different types of pens, gel pen and roller ball pen.
Gel pen is a pen that uses ink in which pigment is suspended in a water-based gel.Because the ink is thick and opaque, it shows up more clearly on dark or slick surfaces than the typical inks used in ballpoint or felt tip pens. They can be used for many types of writing and illustration.
On the other hand, roller ball pen is writing instruments which use ball point writing mechanisms with water-based liquid or gelled ink, as opposed to the oil-based viscous inks found in ballpoint pens. The characteristics of these are less viscous inks, which tend to saturate more deeply and more widely into paper than other types of ink, give rollerball pens their distinctive writing qualities.
Personally I prefer to use gell pen since my writing will be more clear and neat compare to rollerball pen. But, gel pen is a bit expensive than rollerball pen. It actually depends on the user what he or she prefer and feel more comfortable. Some might prefer using rollerball pen as it doesn't smudge easily and some prefer gel pen. Conclusion is that it really depend on the user to choose which one to buy.

Hye, we always compare two stuff when we have to choose between the two stuff right.But sometimes we don't know how to compare both stuff.After i have study compare and contrast i know the better way to compare.It might help us to choose the right one.In this world we always have to make choice.Sometimes, we afraid to make a choice because we think it might be wrong choice.So, we have to be careful in making choice.Compare all the features or character of our choices with the other choice.

LG have eye sensor, and consisr of stainless steel tub. But, TOSHIBA has palstics tub. Because of the LG washing machine have more advantage than TOSHIBA, the LG price is more expensive than TOSHIBA. So. it worth it to buy LG washing machine.. Anyway, both of the washing machine brand are fully automatics..

If we heard about comparing something, it always need at least 2 object. Mostly comparing is about bad and good. For me, it is NOT a big deal to comparing something in term of being a good people. Actually,it's come from our heart to decide between good and bad. So, if we make comparison, make sure we are not comparing till it is touching someone feeling...because it totally BAD...so beware..

That’s all happen, especially when we want to buy things that nearest be same but different brand. Sometimes, people like to compare us to other people that really far good than us. I think it’s can’t be accepted because all the people have their own weakness and uniqueness. Actually, people and things is really not same. We can’t make it similar. People can be touching and take deep heart if we try to compared them with others. But things if we compared them have no effects. So, comparison can be making by compare their function, advantages, and the uniqueness and so on. The gadget that I try to compare is computer and the laptop. Actually both of them have same function, but laptop is more upgrade function and easy to carry anywhere compared to computer.

ReplyDeleteIn compare and contrast session I have learn to find differences and similiarities between two product. It is true that the venn diagram is make easier to compared both product.
I would to compare about between bicycle and motorcycle, both have similiarities to use as a transport. Than, the differencess is bicycle did not suitable for the long journey but for motorcycle is suitable to use to go for long journey because motorcycle did not use human power to run on it than bicycle.
Beside that the good thing on bicycle is it did not use petrol as a sources power, but moyorcycle have to when we want to ride on it.
So for conclusion, both product have their own advantages on it and its depends for user which one is suitable to him or her in daily life.

I will compare between parents and teachers.Parents will make sure our needs is fulfill but teachers only teach us something new about education.Parents also give us happiness and will protect us when we are still just a kid.Teacher also protecting us but only in school from being bullied by the seniors.
Thus,parents and teachers have their own responsibilities to make sure that their children and students got everything that they need....That is all..
