  1. Do you love to watch korean series? I'm sure that to those who love it, they will familiar with the food named 'kimchee'.Just now,i've read about 'kimchee' in the internet. kimchee is a Korea’s national dish.People usually hear it described as pickled or fermented cabbage. Although this is the most popular kind, there are many different ways of making kim chi, and you can experiment as much as you want.it is a mix of Chinese cabbages, spring onions,Sea salt,Korean chili powder, cloves garlic, sugar, kim chi sauce, ginger, powdered ginger, onion.
at the end,it should be soft in consistency, but not too mushy, with a little crunchiness left in the larger pieces. You can eat it as is, or use it in your favorite Korean recipes. If you don’t have a favorite Korean recipe, get one.Someone had tried to puts it on burgers.I cant imagine how it taste. ;)
Remember, this is only one person’s recipe for kim chi, and there are many more available on the internet and elsewhere. You can add all sorts of things to the mix. For me,i don't think it is delicious by reading all the ingredients.but one day, i want to try it..huhu..

  3. Have you ever found that you've read a text without really understanding what the author was saying?

Have you ever read mountains of books without being any wiser about what the answer to your essay question might be?

If you have ever had these problems, then you have been reading inefficiently. Efficient reading is about reading in a way that allows you to understand the writer's message without spending too much time in the process. It's also about reading with a clear purpose in mind so that you only read material that is relevant. When you're reading in preparation for an essay or for understanding generally, remember that good reading strategies go hand-in-hand with good note-taking skills.Efficient reading starts with choosing a strategy to suit the kind of text you have to read because your purpose in reading and the nature of text to be read will determine your strategy. Your purpose in reading might be to:

    -gather information for an essay
-learn about a particular topic or understand a particular theory
    -prepare for an exam
so determine your reading purpose and start to read effectively!

  4. hi,
    Assalamualaikum madam azlinda

Did you know ‘HOW MUSCLES ENLARGE’? Toning, body shaping, body sculpting, weight lifting, strength training – all are names for exercises that increase the size of your muscles by increasing the number of myofibrils, thread – like strands (above) that form each muscle fibers. Whatever it’s called, this type of workout not only beefs up your muscle size, it delivers a weight - control bonus: since muscles burn kilojoules at a higher rate than fat even when you are not working out, you can eat more good food without worrying about weight gain or you can also lose weight more easily.
    Thank you

  5. do you know what are good foods for your brain??
there are 8 foods to keep your brain young and healthy...

    here there are....

    1.fish
Protein, an important component in the making of neurotransmitters, is essential to improve mental performance. Aside from being an excellent source of high quality protein, fish are packed with essential oils, such as Omega-3, which protect the brain and supports its development and functioning. Deep sea fish have the highest amounts of fatty acids, and they include salmon, sea bass, halibut, mackerel, and sardines.

    2. Blueberries
These delicious berries are full of powerful antioxidants, which eliminate free-radical damage that causes aging, and they also possess neuroprotective properties that can delay the onset of age-related memory loss by guarding brain cells from damage caused by chemicals, plaque, or trauma. And they combat inflammation, the other factor in aging.

    3. Nuts and Seeds
Nuts and seeds are wonder foods for your brain. Packed with protein and essential fatty acids, nuts and seeds are also chock full of the amino arginine, which stimulates the pituitary gland at the base of the brain to release growth hormone, a substance that declines quickly after age 35; this is a real anti-aging boon to your brain!

    4. Cruciferous Vegetables
Broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts are all rich in choline, an essential nutrient for memory and brain health. Choline is a precursor to the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which contributes to healthy and efficient brain processes. As we age, our body's natural choline output declines, and its neurochemical action weakens. You can eat choline-rich foods to increase your production of acetylcholine, which will improve your brain power.

Other sources of choline include: eggs, soybeans, peanuts, cabbage, black beans, and kidney beans.

    5. Oil: Monounsaturated Fats
Monounsaturated fats contain essential fatty acids and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), which are crucial for brain development and function, among many other excellent benefits for your health. Olive oil, sesame oil, canola oil, almond oil, flaxseed oil, and fish oil are rich in monounsaturated fats and are good choices for brain health. Population studies show that people with a diet that is high in unsaturated, unhydrogenated fats may have a reduced risk of Alzheimer's disease, whereas those with a diet that is higher in saturated fats and trans fats have an increased risk.

    6. L-carnitine Foods
Age-related memory problems are many times caused by plaque buildup and diminished blood supply to the brain, compromising the delivery of nutrients and oxygen. L-carnitine, an amino acid manufactured in your liver, increases circulation in the brain — among a myriad of powerful benefits for your health. Also, because it prevents fat oxidation in the brain, L-carnitine shows some promise in preventing Alzheimer's disease. Good sources of L-carnitine include: meats, fish, poultry, wheat, avocado, milk, and fermented soybeans.

    7. Microalgae
Microalgaes from the ocean and uncontaminated lakes, including blue-green algae, spirulina, chlorella, seaweed, and kelp are easy-to-digest, high protein and high-energy supplements-and contain over a hundred trace minerals! Available in your health food store, microalgae are simple to incorporate into your diet to ensure a good, strong brain function. Look for powders you dissolve in juice or flakes you can sprinkle on your food.

    8. Green Tea
Green tea prevents an enzyme found in Alzheimer's disease and is also rich in polyphenols, antioxidants that help prevent premature brain aging. Drink two cups a day to get the brain benefits. To decaf tea, steep for 45 seconds and pour out the water, add fresh hot water to the leaves or tea bag — 95% of caffeine will be eliminated.

so,i hope you'll get the brain benefits of these foods to make sure, our brain is always young and healthy.. =))

  6. Hi.....I'm already read one article in Reader's Digest....In what direction do our eyes face when we are asleep?

our eyes face is in upwards direction usually...Furthermore,our eyes muscles relax when we are asleep and the natural tendency known as Bell's Phenomenon. It is for the eyes to roll back above their usual position..

Of course, when we experience rapid eye movements during sleep, our eyes dart back and forth...

  9. Salam..
I have search and read an article in the web page http://www.alive.com...It's about the eyes..The eyes are one of the beauty elements in someone's body..Here,I just want to share about the ways how to take a good care of our eyes..

Do your eyes feel puffy and tired after sitting in front of a computer or after driving for a long time? If you answered yes, it is not surprising and do not worry about that as it's commonly situation.

Here are what we can do :-

1-Firstly,self-massage can be done by rubbing our palms together and placing them over the eyes.

2-Then place the thumbs on the upper orbital bones (directly below eyebrows at the inside corner of eyes), gently press, and massage the bones.

3-Finally, place our fingertips on the lower orbital bones (directly below the eyes on the bony ridge), gently press and massage the bones..

It's easy right..Just make a simple steps and movements for the eyes and it will give a comfortable looking for us..

Another trick is to place cucumber slices on our lids as a refresher and astringent. They are great after a day in the bright sunshine.

As I know, taking more vitamin A and C is also help to care our eyes..For this way,we should eat more foods that are rich of that vitamins such as carrots, tomatoes, oranges and so on...

So,that's all from me..Hope we are alert to our eyes as it's the special element in our body..thank you

  10. Salam Madam Azlinda..

I want to share a joke that makes me laugh..

A family had twin boys whose only resemblance to each other was their looks. Opposite in every way, one was an eternal optimist, the 2nd boy was a gloom pessimist.

Just to see what would happen, on the biys birthday their father loaded the pessimist’s room with lots of games and gadgets. The optimist’s room he loaded with horse dung.

That night the father passed by the pessimist’s room and found him sitting amid his new gifts with a sorrow face.

“Why are you sad?” the father asked.

“Because my friends will be jealous, I’ll have to read all these instructions before I can do anything with this stuff, I’ll constantly need batteries, and my toys will eventually get broken.” answered the pessimist biy.

Passing the optimist twin’s room, the father found him dancing for joy in the heap of manure. “What are you so happy about?” he asked.

To which his optimist kid replied, “There must to be a pony in here somewhere!, thanks for the gift Father"

Haha...you think that funny??I can assure you that this short joke is the best..

  12. Hi there,
I want to share about quotation again, “You’re alive. Do something. The directive in life, the moral imperative was so uncomplicated. It could be expressed in single words, not complete sentences. It sounded like this: Look. Listen. Choose. Act."
Barbara Hall, A Summons to New Orleans, 2000
I guess the quotation sound interesting and have the subjective meaning that depends on us to manipulate it. As for me I think that it is about in our life we will face much kind of problem and risk, since we’re alive. So we need to do something to handle this because nothing impossible in our life.

for reading entries sesion,i will share something about what i read.I read about dragonfruit. For your information, this dragon fruit call pitaya.Dragonfruit is rich in fibre, Vitamin C and minerals. Dragonfruit is also rich in phytoalbumins which are highly valued for their antioxidant properties. Antioxidants prevent the formation of cancer causing free radicals. In Taiwan, diabetics use the fruit as a food substitute for rice and as a fibre rich part of the diet.Dragonfruit may be eaten raw as a dessert fruit, juiced and used in cocktails, ice creams and fermented into an alcoholic beverage. In Malaysia, commercial cultivation of dragonfruit was initiated in Sitiawan, Kuala Pilah and Johor as early as 1999. A warm climate cactus, dragonfruit can be cultivated in semi arid areas and has promising prospect as a plantation crop on account of its potential for industrial processing into juice, flavorings and wine as well as its medicinal properties.

so that all from me for this sesion.

  14. Salam everyone,

As we know, everybody in this world has their own fear. Want to learn how to face your fear? These are some funny ways to overcome your fear, but its really works psychologically:

    1. Yell at them.
Tell them to go to a place where there are no lemonade stands.

    2. Laugh at them.
A good technique: start with “ha” and end with “hee.”

    3. Talk about them.
Preferably to a friend, over a cup of strong coffee.

    4. Scare them away.
Any mask will do, but any beast or vampire getup is particularly effective.

    5. Dress them up.
With the right attire and hairdo, you can make anything seem attractive and desirable (to someone else), right?

    6. Harness them.
If they are under your control, you don’t have to worry about them.

    7. Interrogate them.
Ask them the hard questions, including: where, what, why, when, and how? Then get a mug shot.

    8. Bully them.
Boss them around like the scary dude in the fifth grade who made you cry. You’re bigger than they are –don’t let them forget it.

    9. Free them.
Let them go. Tell them to have fun, but not to come back.

Grab some points and try it at home!

  16. My next reading entry is about Dodo, one of the extinct bird in 19 century. The dodo was a flightless bird endemic to the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius. Related to pigeons and doves, it stood about a meter tall, weighing about 20 kilograms living on fruit and nesting on the ground. The dodo has been extinct since the mid-to-late 17th century. It is commonly used as the archetype of an extinct species because its extinction occurred during recorded human history, and was directly attributable to human activity. The adjective phrase "as dead as a dodo" means undoubtedly and unquestionably dead. The phrase "to go the way of the dodo" means to become extinct or obsolete, to fall out of common usage or practice, or to become a thing of the past.
