86 comments:

  1. I guess I’m the first student from E03 post this reading entries. What I want to tell here is that I love to read Women’s Weekly magazine. We can find this magazine monthly at most book outlet in reasonable price. There are two edition of this magazine are sell in Malaysia which are The American Women’s Weekly and The Malaysian Women’s Weekly. However the American edition is more expensive than the Malaysian edition. Ask for me I prefer the American edition because it offer more information and more attractive compare to Malaysian edition. Plus, I also can get latest information about my favorite Hollywood stars.

This magazine is so useful for us, i think, because it's only issues about health and how to become and stay healthy. What's makes this magazine useful to me is they always write about how to have a balanced diet. Do you know, by drinking a lots of water, we can get fat!? Yes, it sounds silly, but that is true. So, for a fat person like me, take serious about the amount of water that you drink everyday. That's all.Thank you.

  6. Do you like budu? The answer can be yes or no, i guess. I knew some might feel bit disgusting to eat budu. As I am Kelantanese, proudly to say that I love budu! Budu or fish’s sauce have bit salty taste if u try budu itself, to make it tastier add lime juice or durian into budu. The original color of this sauce is grayish and peoples use to eat budu with ‘ulam’ (raw veggies). There are few facts that you should know about budu, where research conduct by dietetics from Japan and US show budu have a lot of goodness. Budu can increase body immunity to fight critical disease likes diabetes, atherosclerosis and cancer. Eating budu also can decrease the bacterial growth (raffinosa and stoicism) which can cause flatulent to adult or kids. There is also good news for budu’s eater where budu have gluthaione (anti-oxidant agent) that can avoid free radical which can tighten your skin and reduce wrinkle hence make you look younger. So with these all goodness that can be get through eating budu I guess everybody should try eat this special sauce. But beware of fake budu which is bit reddish color where coloring agent was added, there are no all budu’s goodness in this fake budu. So ladies and gentlemen let’s eat budu!

  8. "Sometimes being a friend means mastering the art of timing. There is a time for silence. A time to let go and allow poeple to hurl themselves into their own destiny. And a time to prepare to pick up the pieces when it's all over." -quotation from Octavia Butler

  9. Salam,
Here I want to share my opinion about the quotation that Norhafiza quote. Well, for me what means by Octavia Butler is true. If we want to be a good friend we should sometimes give a space for our friend to improve themselves and to be who they are. We should know when is the right time for us to be silent, to give opinion or to admonish our friend. This is because our friend is a human being that have feeling and have mood. Therefore if we talk to them a wrong word at a wrong time, it might hurt them. And this can lead to quarreling. All of us doesn't want to have an argument with our friend right? Therefore, this quotation can be a good motivation for people who care about their friend. Well, that is all from me now. Thank you.

I want to share about math joke. It's just for fun. This is some joke from what i read.

-Algebraic symbol are used when you do not know what you are talking about. hehe..

-Math is like love; a simple idea, but it can get complicated.

-Mathematician is a blind in a dark room looking for a black cat which isn't there.

-An engineer think that his equation are an approximation to reality. A physicist thinks reality is an approximation to his equation. A mathematician doesn't care.

I admit that, to gain muscle mass and weight is not easy for me and also doing all the discipline in consistently. But for me, give up is not an option. I’m proud with myself, because I can increase my weight. Before this my weight is always maintain at 58 kg and never increase and I look skinny but not too skinny. 15. Assalamualaikum madam and all of you, who read my post,
Seem like I’m quite late to post here, but its ok. Before I proceed to post my reading entry, I would like to give comment based on what my friends had posted. Laila had share about her favorite web site. I already know that site since last semester from her. She is quite obsessed with that web site. It doesn’t surprise me when she said she like to surf that web site because once I enter that web site, I also found that web is interesting. So, thanks to Laila to share it with us. Regarding to what Fiza had posted about friends and Laila’s comment. Firstly, I agreed with that quote. You know, friends are also a human that have feelings, moods, problems and so on. So, as friends it is important for us to know the right time for us to interrupt based what they said, to give our opinion or just be there to hear what she/he want to says. But for me, when we able to understand them so they as our friends also need to understand us. Moreover, if only us who need to understand them and care about their feeling in other place they did not do the same to us, which they did not care about our feeling and keep on hurting us. Then, who else want to care about our feeling other than ourselves. Am I right? It doesn’t mean I’m self fish but sometimes we need to interrupt them and tell them that people might do mistakes once or twice and don’t just blame others but see our own self first. Maybe some of us afraid to have argument with their friends but for good, I would like to said that ‘don’t be afraid to quarrel with your best friend because sometimes when we fought with them, it can teach us to be more matured and also make our friendship to be matured too’.

Hi..here I want to share about ways to improve our country,Malaysia. There are several ways to improve our country. The first thing is its traffic congestion. There should be attempts to reduce the number of vehicles on the roads. Tell people to carpool. This will reduce the number of cars on the road b 80%.Besides,Malaysians are hardly bothered about the environment. Our environment is so polluted that all types of illnesses are on the rise.Malaysia would be a much better country if Malaysians commit themselves to keeping the environment clean.Another thing that keep Malaysia being the perfect country that it should be is that Malaysians are addicted to vandalism. They should change their attitude and regard public property as their own. That's all..

  21. hi,
    Assalamualaikum madam azlinda.

Here is my reading about ‘YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT’. Here is some understanding about nutrients,
    1) Antioxidants; substances that protect against free radicals, the molecules that attack cells and damage DNA.
    2) Essential Fatty Acids; used to manufacture and repair cell membranes and to produce prostaglandins, which exert effects throughout the body. EFAs must be obtained from food sources; hence they are called ‘essential’.
    3) Isoflavones; found chiefly in soy foods, these compounds can alter the action of true estrogens in the body.
    4) Phytochemicals; plant molecules that may prevent and/or suppress disease in the human body.
    5) Phytonutrient; biologically active substances, such as ascorbic acid and beta – carotene, the plant forms of vitamins C and A, that are need to sustain life.

  22. hi,
    Assalamualaikum madam azlinda

I already read about ‘DARK CHOCOLATE’. I am the chocolate lover, so here is some information about chocolate; chocolate contains some of the same disease-fighting antioxidants as red wine, fruit and vegetables. In fact, a 50g bar of the dark chocolate offers about the same amount of antioxidants protection as a 150 ml glass of Cabernet. Tests conducted in Japan on human blood samples found that some antioxidants extracted from chocolate suppressed cell-damaging chemicals and boosted immune function. More recently, the British Medical Journal reported that people who regularly eat chocolate live up to a year longer than those who avoid it altogether. The study, which examined health records of 7841 men, found that people who ate modest amounts of chocolate arc-from one to three a month – had a 36 per cent lower risk of death than those who abstained.

  23. hi,
    assalamualaikum madam azlinda,
now i would like to share a lot of information from the book that i already read for a long time.
It the book from reader's digest, such a big and thick book.. Entitled 101 ways to improve your memory.
In this side, I would like to share about one of the subtopic from this book entitled 'THE FIVE SENSES':
we already know that human has five senses that are SIGHT, SMELL, TASTE, TOUCH and HEARING.
These five senses actually channels to our brain.it are through the senses that all data is registered and gradually accumulates to become the rich and fertile ground that constitutes our memory.
Each of the senses is adjusted to a certain range of wavelength. these waves will be captured by different organs.
The information carried by our senses is recognized, continuously analyzed and processed by specialized areas of the brain.
Here are the areas that detect each of our senses.
    1) Associative sphere:
    - all the sensory information is combined to give an accurate overall perception
    2) sensitive sphere:
    - it receive tactile information, from the head to the feet.
    3) Gustatory sphere:
    - this is the zone where taste is interpreted
    4) visual sphere:
    - coming straight to retina, the first images gradually take shape.
    5) Auditory sphere:
    - sounds are transmitted here to analyzed
    6) olfactory sphere:
this is the zone near the hippocampus where smells are synthesized.

  24. Assalamualaikum to Madam Azlinda and all of my fellow friends,i have found something that is very interesnting when i read some article in the internet. So i don't want to have it alone..the article is about "The Reason To Smile"...have a nice reading...

    1. Smiling makes us attractive

We are drawn to people who smile. There is an attraction factor. We want to know a smiling person and figure out what is so good. Frowns(angry face), scowls(angry expression)e and grimaces all push people away ,but a smile draws them in.
    2.Smiling changes our mood

Next time you are feeling down, try putting on a smile. There's a good chance you mood will change for the better. Smiling can trick the body into helping you change your mood.

    3. Smiling is Contagious

When someone is smiling they lighten up the room, change the moods of others, and make things happier. A smiling person brings happiness with them. Smile lots and you will draw people to you.

    4. Smiling Relieves Stress

Stress can really show up in our faces. Smiling helps to prevent us from looking tired, worn down, and overwhelmed. When you are stressed, take time to put on a smile. The stress should be reduced and you'll be better able to take action.

    5. Smiling Boosts Your Immune System

Smiling helps the immune system to work better. When you smile, immune function improves possibly because you are more relaxed. revent the flu and colds by smiling.

    6. Smiling Lowers Your Blood Pressure

When you smile, there is a measurable reduction in your blood pressure. Give it a try if you have a blood pressure monitor at home.
Sit for a few minutes, take a reading. Then smile for a minute and take another reading while still smiling. Do you notice a difference?

    7. Smiling Releases Endorphins, Natural Pain Killers and Serotonin

Studies have shown that smiling releases endorphins, natural pain killers, and serotonin. Together these three make us feel good. Smiling is a natural drug.

    8. Smiling Lifts the Face and Makes You Look Younger

The muscles we use to smile lift the face, making a person appear younger. Don't go for a face lift, just try smiling your way through the day!you'll look younger and feel better.

    9. Smiling Makes You Seem Successful

Smiling people appear more confident, are more likely to be promoted, and more likely to be approached. Put on a smile at meetings and appointments and people will react to you differently.

    10. Smiling Helps You Stay Positive

Try this test: Smile. Now try to think of something negative without losing the smile. It's hard. When we smile our body is sending the rest of us a message that "Life is Good!" Stay away from depression, stress and worry by smiling..try it k..you will feel something different...adiossss...

i have done read an article about how breaking of wudhu'..in this article it told us how wudhu' among husband and wife will break.the question is if husband has wudhu' and touched his wife, does this will break his wudhu'?
The scholars differ as to whether touching one's wife directly breaks a man's wudhu'. The most correct opinion is that it does not break his wudhu', regardless of whether he touched her with desire or not, because the Prophet kissed some of his wifes and did not do wudhu' after that, and because it would impose a lot of hardship if wudhu' was required in this case. If it broke a person's wudhu', the Prophet would have said so.

With regard to the words of Allah in the Qur'an (interpretation of the meaning): "or you have been in contact with women." [al-Nisa']
4:43; al-Maa'idah 5:6], this refers to sexual intercourse according
    to the sounder scholarly opinion.

i like to share about what i had read to all of you.it is about POWERTRACK PLUS.In 1982, Matchbox unveiled Powertrack Plus in the UK. The cars were operated from 12V and were much faster. A magnet on the underside of the 'gearbox' increased grip to the track and the higher voltage was more tolerant of larger track layouts.Powertrack Plus sets had upgraded transformers, hand controllers and track terminals which featured different connectors that were not compatible with the 6V systems. Curiously, the 12V terminal had no facility for powering the lap counter though. All other track remained the same stock parts but were repacked with Powertrack Plus branding.
    that's all.thank you.

I had reading the tips on how to diet..
Everyone knows the keys to losing weight: Eat less and exercise more. Sounds simple enough, but in the context of real life, it can be anything but simple.

To find out, I had research a little information about the best way diet tips in the internet..Here, there are some of the tips I got from the web http://www.webmd.com/diet/features..

*Best Diet Tip No. 1: Drink plenty of water or other calorie-free beverages.
-People sometimes confuse thirst with hunger. So you can end up eating extra calories when an ice-cold glass of water is really what you need.
-If you don't like plain water, try adding citrus or a splash of juice, or brew infused teas like mango or peach, which have lots of flavor but no calories.

*Best Diet Tip No. 2: Think about what you can add to your diet, not what you should take away.
-Start by focusing on getting the recommended 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables each day.
-It's suggest for getting more: Work vegetables into meals instead of just serving them as sides on a plate.

*Best Diet Tip No. 3: Be choosy about nighttime snacks.
-Mindless eating occurs most frequently after dinner, when you finally sit down and relax.
-Either close down the kitchen after a certain hour, or allow yourself a low-calorie snack, like a 100-calorie pack of cookies or a half-cup scoop of low-fat ice cream.

*Best Diet Tip No. 4: Enjoy your treats away from home.
-When you need a treat, taking a walk or planning a family outing.
-And for those times you just can't get out? Stocks your kitchen with fresh fruit, which can be every bit as delicious as any other dessert.

*Best Diet Tip No. 5: Eat protein at every meal.
-Protein is more satisfying than carbohydrates or fats, and thus may be the new secret weapon in weight control.
-Getting enough protein helps preserve muscle mass and encourages fat burning while keeping you feeling full.

I think all the tips above can help those people who want to diet in the right ways..At the same time, we can enjoy our food properly without any worry...So,that's all...thank you

A cigarette containing active chemical. They could start dramatically and fatal changes of the body. There were over 4,000 chemicals, which can be damaging to the smoker's body. They include tar, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrogen cyanide, metals, ammonia, and radioactive compounds.

It can increases the smoker's heart rate. Then, it elevates the smoker's blood pressure. The carbon monoxide in tobacco smoke deprives the tissues of the smoker's body of much-needed oxygen. Those brings dangerous short-term effects to our body.

i had read an article about the twins. For those who get the twins, thy were very lucky person.A mixed-race British mom, Kylie Hodgson, gave birth in 2005 to twins, one of each — one black, the other white. The odds of such a birth are about a million to one, experts said. Although occurrences of this nature sometimes occur when a woman conceives twins fathered by two different men, this was a much rarer case in which a single pairing produced twins with distinctly different physical attributes (e.g., skin tone, hair color, eye color) rather than a blending of their parents' characteristics. The parents, Kylie and her partner, Remi Horder, are of mixed race themselves, both having been born to white mothers and black fathers. Their twin girls — Kian and Remee — were both born with blue eyes, with Remee having blonde hair and Kian having black hair and somewhat darker skin than her sister. Since then, Remee's skin tone has become lighter, while Kian's has become darker and her eyes have turned brown.

this article is about habits of a loving couple.Romance is a way to express your love, the icing on the cake... but don't wait for special occasions to express your love. Make sure that you nurture your loving relationship by practicing these basic habits in your day-to-day life. These may seem very basic, but how many do you do? Don't despair ... it's never too late to adopt good, loving habits. Remember, the more you put into your relationship, the more you gain!

    1. Say "I Love You" at least once a day. Your partner does need to hear the words.

    2. Kiss good-bye & hello. Throw in a hug while you're at it.

    3. "Date" your partner for the rest of your lives. Treat your partner even better than when you were dating... Remember that you are sweethearts:

    * open her door
    * straighten his tie
    * hold out her chair
    * hold hands when you're walking together

    4. Don't sweat the small stuff. You can let his/her bad habits bother you to distraction... or you can accept them, and work around them. Does she leave the cap off the toothpaste? Buy separate tubes... Does he leave clothes laying around? Ignore them, or pick them up, remembering just how much he does for you in other ways. Or, make it easier for your partner to satisfy you... buy several clothes hampers and keep them handy.

  44. Hi
I want to share some joke again.

Three men: a project manager, a software engineer, and a hardware engineer
are helping out on a project. About midweek they decide to walk up and down
the beach during their lunch hour. Halfway up the beach, they stumbled upon
a lamp. As they rub the lamp a genie appears and says "Normally I would
grant you three wishes, but since there are three of you, I will grant you
    each one wish."
The hardware engineer went first. "I would like to spend the rest of
my life living in a huge house in Bukit Gomak with no money worries." The
genie granted him his wish and sent him on off to Bukit Gomak.
The software engineer went next. "I would like to spend the rest of
my life living on a huge yacht cruising the Mediterranean with no
money worries." The genie granted him his wish and sent him off to the
    Mediterranean.
Last, but not least, it was the project manager's turn. "And what
would your wish be?" asked the genie.
"I want them both back after lunch" replied the project manager.
    Hope you all enjoy it

as a reading entries,i was read the MALAYSIAN bOOK of RECORD.actually it is about a Malaysian project to publish records set or broken by Malaysians. The project complements former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Bin Mohamad's 'Malaysia Boleh!' campaign. As with the Guinness World Records, there is an annually published book listing the records. the interesting about this book,it show the talent of malaysian to do the extraordinary work that is unbeliveable. The idea was conceived in 1990 when Danny Ooi stumbled upon questions regarding extraordinary feats by Malaysians. He recalled seeing a man cycling for days at the Merdeka Stadium, trying to set a world record, and another individual, who travelled from state to state by walking. The latter was hoping his attempt could be entered in the Guinness Book of World Records.Realising that none of these feats would be recorded, Mr Ooi felt that recognition should be given to such determination exhibited by Malaysians.

i hope more on malaysian do more skill that is show the trully malaysian...

  46. Salam Madam Azlinda and my God bless you,

Here i will talk about DOTA(Defense Of The Acient). It is a well-known game in this world. The game consist of many types of playable character which I call it hero. The game is simple and easy to play. There are two sides that we can choose to play which is Sentinel and The Scourge.Maximum players that can join in a game is only ten players. The game also got ranks which when we kill 3 players in a row,we got the 'killing spree rank'.But,when we kill 3 players in a time,we got the 'triple kill'rank.I love to use Terrorblade which is my favourite of all.The famous skill that players are afraid of is Sunder and Metamorphosis. It is so pain that even this hero can face to face with 5 players at a time.

We also can buy items. The items must be suitable on what hero we use.If we buy the wrong item,we might be lose to the enemy because items is essential to win in this game.If we choose tanks hero,we must buy tanker item which is a hero that must be in front of other players.I think that is all that I can share abut DOTA.Thanks...^^

    Assalamualaikum madam Azlinda...

Almost everyone in UMP has their account on skype. We use skype everyday. Skype is a software application that allows users to make telephone calls over the Internet. Calls to other users of the service and to free-of-charge numbers are free, while calls to other landlines and mobile phones can be made for a fee. Additional features include instant messaging, file transfer and video conferencing.
Do u know the name skype come from? One of the initial names for the project was "Sky peer-to-peer", which was then abbreviated to "Skyper". However some of the domain names associated with "Skyper" were already taken. Dropping the final 'r' left the current title "Skype", for which domain names were available.

    Assalamualaikum madam Azlinda...

Kuala lipis, i will not forget about this place for the whole of my life! Even though my family is from perak, but i spent almost all my life at Kuala Lipis. Starting from 1998 until now, it is about 11 years now. What is special abou Kuala Lipis? As we known, it is one of the tourism place in Malaysia, for example, Kuala Lipis old town, Hilltop house of the British Resident, Lipis District Office, Old Railway Station and Clifford School. Yes, Clifford School. I have been studied there for three years before i continue my study at SBPI Kuantan.

Do you now that the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Najib Tun Razak was born in Kuala Lipis? Not in pekan. Malaysian pop diva Siti Nurhaliza was also born here. Her family still live in Kuala Lipis and the house she built for them became the talk of town as it was rumoured to cost millions of ringgit. It has now become a tourist attraction. The town council even provided directions to the house on a signboard and made parking space for tour buses available near the house. Recently, her wedding reception for friends and fans here was made an official function for the whole town by the council.

  50. SLEEP

    Assalamualaikum madam Azlinda...

I just read an article about sleep at the website http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep. Do you know that there are 3 stage of sleep?
Stage N1 refers to the transition of the brain from alpha waves. This stage is sometimes referred to as somnolence or drowsy sleep.. Some people may also experience hypnagogic hallucinations during this stage, which can be troublesome to them. During N1, the subject loses some muscle tone and most conscious awareness of the external environment.

Stage N2 is characterized by sleep spindles During this stage, muscular activity as measured by EMG decreases, and conscious awareness of the external environment disappears. This stage occupies 45 to 55% of total sleep in adults.

Stage N3 (deep or slow-wave sleep) is characterized by delta waves This is the stage in which such parasomnias as night terrors, bedwetting, sleepwalking, and sleep-talking occur.

It is hard to you remember your dream when you has been disturbed in your dream when you are on stage 2 and all dreams are in stage 3.

my next reading entries is the tradisional game.I was remembered that i played tis game when i was 5 years old.The game was called KONDA KONDI.it is a malay tradisional game.in my place the game was very popular. It can be play at an area with wide open space. The requirement to playe into this game are 2-8 people in team. Each team must have equal amount of players. The equipments are so easy.all we need is 2 pieces of stick, the long stick is around 46-61 cm and lastly the short stick is around 16 cm.

But,how does it play? here are the instuction to play this game.
    stage 1.
    1. The starting team would place the short stick horizontally over the hole.
    2. The first player of the starting team let's say group A would hold the long stick with both his hands and try to scoop the short stick out.
    3. When the short stick is out, place the long stick horizontally over the hole.
    4. Player from Group B who is the guard would now try to throw the short stick to the hole If the short stick hits the long stick or goes into the hole, the player who scoops the stick would be considered 'dead' and is replaced by another player from the same team)
    5. If all the player is 'dead' , Group A will now guard while group B will now scoop the stick.
    6. However if group B did not hit the long stick or put the small stick into the hole, the player will proceed to the next stage.

    Stage 2.
    1. The same player would hold the short stick with his left hand and the long stick with his right. He would try to hit the short stick with the long stick (like baseball).
    2. Group B would try to prevent the short stick from moving to far by using the leg to block the stick before it stops.
    3. The guard from Group B would throw the short stick towards the hole.
    4. The first player from group A would use the long stick to block the short stick from going into the hole. He would try to hit the small stick.
    5. The player would then use the long stick to measure the distance between the short stick and the hole. Total points of the measurement would be the total points. Then he proceeds to stage 3.

    Stage 3.
This stage is called 'patuk ayam'
    1. The first player would place the short stick vertically to the hole. (See figure)
    2. Hit the short stick with the long stick until the short stick jumps upwards and then use the long stick to hit the short stick as far as possible.
    3. Group B would then try to throw the short stick towards the hole.
    4. Similar to stage 2, the first player would then use the long stick to prevent the short stick from going into the hole.
    5. If the short stick does not go in, the first player would then use the small stick to measure it's distance to the hole. The total points would then be added to the one collected at stage 2. (Total points would be added with the points obtained from other players. The team with most points wins.)

    thats all from me...

today's news i have read at yahoo page is about research of tornadoes in washington.
For most people, tornadoes are something to flee. But next month a small army of scientists will be doing just the opposite, crisscrossing the nation's middle in search of twisters.
Organized by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the National Science Foundation, Operation Vortex2 will last from May 10 to June 13.
Fifty researchers will set out in research vehicles, including mobile radars, in an effort to get close to tornadoes and study how they work.
The study will focus on southern South Dakota, western Iowa, eastern Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, the Texas panhandle and western Oklahoma.
that was the interesting news that the researchers have found an initiative to find out more about tornadoes.it absolutely good for us so that we can prevent or prepare if it will happen in sudden.

  60. Do you ever heard about 'Chicken Gun'? Scientists at NASA built a gun specifically to launch dead chickens at the windshields of airliners, military jets and the space shuttle, all traveling at maximum velocity. The idea is to simulate the frequent incidents of collisions with airborne fowl to test the strength of the windshields.
British engineers heard about the gun and were eager to test it on the windshields of their new high speed trains. Arrangements were made, and a gun was sent to the British engineers. When the gun was fired, the engineers stood shocked as the Chicken hurtled out of the barrel, crashed into the shatter-proof windshield, smashed it to smithereens, blasted through the control console, snapped the engineer's backrest in two and embedded itself in the back wall of the cabin, like an arrow shot from a bow.

    8. Listen, Listen, Listen.
Don't interrupt. We not only become more likeable, but we really start to understand the person's wants, needs and tolerations.

    9. Speak concisely.
Practice your laser phrases. Be able to tell people what you do in a few short sentences.

    10. Underpromise and overdeliver.
In other words, give them more than they expect. Ask them their opinion.

    That's all and gud luck!

  64. Humburger..delicious am I right? Hamburgers are usually a feature of fast food restaurants. The hamburgers served in major fast food establishments are mass-produced in factories and frozen for delivery to the site. These hamburgers are thin and of uniform thickness, differing from the traditional American hamburger prepared in homes and conventional restaurants, which is thicker and prepared by hand from ground beef. Generally most American hamburgers are round, but some fast-food chains, such as Wendy's, sell square-cut hamburgers. Hamburgers in fast food restaurants are usually fried, but some firms, such as Burger King use a grilling process. At conventional American restaurants, hamburgers may be ordered "rare", but normally are served well-done for food safety reasons.

  66. Salam everyone,

When you feel like eating something, what comes to mind first? For me it's the purely the taste. But do you all know what is the effect of food that we take? As for today, I would like to share with all of you some effect that maybe occur from any food that we eat:

    1. Body Odor.
Researchers found that red meat consumption negatively influences on body odor.

    2. Acne.
Foods that are high in saturated fat and trans fatty acids increase the sebum production in the body, which in turn increases acne. Researchers suggest that there is a positive association between milk consumption and acne.

    3. Allergy.
Allergy is a number one foods side effect. In theory, any food can cause an allergy. But in fact there are 8 foods to blame for 90% of allergic reactions to food: milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts (including Brazil nuts, hazelnuts, almonds and walnuts), fish, shellfish, soy and wheat. Allergic can be dangerous, and can kill a human being.

    4. Yeast infection.
Yeast infections are caused by an overgrowth of the normal yeast in the body, so foods that affect the yeast levels may contribute to a yeast infection. These foods are: sugars, vinegar, starches, refined carbohydrates, yeast and yeast containing products.

    5. Heartburn and Acid Reflux.
There is a relatively long list of foods that cause heartburn. Some foods cause the lower esophageal sphincter - a muscle that helps to keep stomach contents out of the esophagus - to become weaker, and some cause the stomach to produce more acid than usual. Both of these problems can increase acid reflux. Most common food triggers for heartburn are citrus fruits, fried and fatty foods, vinegar, tomatoes, chocolate.

    6. High Cholesterol (Hyperlipidemia).
Cholesterol is found mostly in animal foods. Consumption of cholesterol-rich foods can elevate blood cholesterol level, which may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke. High cholesterol foods are: brains (beef, pork, lamb), eggs, organ meat (liver, kidneys, spleen).

    7. Kidney stones.
People whose diets are high in animal protein and low in fiber and fluids may be at higher risk for stones. Several studies have shown that increasing dietary calcium and restricting salt, animal protein, and foods rich in oxalate, such as rhubarb, spinach, cocoa, nuts, pepper, and tea, can help prevent calcium oxalate stones from returning [2].

    8. Memory and Cognition Impairment.
Among older adults whose diets are high in saturated fats and trans fats, a high intake of foods containing copper may cause a fast decline in their ability to think, learn, and remember, according to the study from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago [3]. The research studies have linked fat intake, especially that of saturated and trans fats, to Alzheimer's disease and other forms of cognitive difficulties.

    9. Edema and Water Retention.
Foods high in salt, sodium or sugar may cause the body to retain considerable fluids and worsen edema. The body needs a constant concentration of salt in its tissues. When excess salt is taken in, the body dilutes it by retaining fluid.

    10. Migraine and Headache.
Foods may trigger not only migraine but also tension type headache, which feels like tightening of a band around the head, making the whole head ache. Foods cause headaches by affecting the brain chemistry or changing the size of blood vessels. Certain foods cause headache in most vulnerable people because of their high content of the amino acids tyramine and phenyethyamine. The tyramine increases blood flow to the brain, which can lead to a headache. Common headache food triggers are aged cheese, beer, red wine, chocolate, nitrite-containing foods.

Hopefully this tips will help you to beware and choose your meal wisely. That's all for today. Thank you.

  69. Assalamualaikum to everyone. In this post, I want to talk about pudding. Pudding is a dessert and can also be a savory dish. In the UK and some Commonwealth countries, pudding refers to rich , fairly homogeneous starch- or dairy-based desserts (e.g. rice pudding, Christmas pudding), or informally to any dessert. The word is also used for fairly homogeneous encased savory dishes, e.g. black pudding, suet pudding.he word pudding probably comes from the French boudin, originally from the Latin botellus, meaning "small sausage," referring to encased meats used in Medieval European puddings.
In Malaysia, some pudding we called 'dadih'. In UMP, many students sell 'dadih' to make some money.

  71. The most No 1 disease in our world..AIDS!!!!but what is AIDS......
AIDS stands for Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome:

    * Acquired means you can get infected with it;
    * Immune Deficiency means a weakness in the body's system that fights diseases.
    * Syndrome means a group of health problems that make up a disease.

AIDS is caused by a virus called HIV, the Human Immunodeficiency Virus. If you get infected with HIV, your body will try to fight the infection. It will make "antibodies," special molecules to fight HIV.

A blood test for HIV looks for these antibodies. If you have them in your blood, it means that you have HIV infection. People who have the HIV antibodies are called "HIV-Positive." Fact Sheet 102 has more information on HIV testing.

Being HIV-positive, or having HIV disease, is not the same as having AIDS. Many people are HIV-positive but don't get sick for many years. As HIV disease continues, it slowly wears down the immune system. Viruses, parasites, fungi and bacteria that usually don't cause any problems can make you very sick if your immune system is damaged. These are called "opportunistic infections." See Fact Sheet 500 for an overview of opportunistic infections.

I have read an article in a book about why woman tend to have higher voices than man and why do short people tend to have higher voices than tall people. The reason is because fundamental frequency or voice pitch level is directly related to the length and the thickness of the individual’s vocal fold. For average man have longer vocal fold than woman. Thus, woman voices is higher than man. So are they for tall and short person.

Actually,i have allergic with the fur especially cat's fur.

The cat (Felis catus), also known as the domestic cat or house cat to distinguish it from other felines and felids, is a small predatory carnivorous species of crepuscular mammal that is valued by humans for its companionship and its ability to hunt vermin, snakes, scorpions, and other unwanted household pests. It has been associated with humans for at least 9,500 years.

Besides, cats use a variety of vocalizations and types of body language for communication, including meowing, purring, hissing, growling, squeaking, chirping, clicking, and grunting. The feline sense of smell is extremely sensitive.Blue-eyed cats with white fur have a reputation for having greater incidence of genetic deafness.

Furthermorec, cats' acts of self-defence involve arching their backs, raising their fur, turning sideways, and hissing.

Last minutes work again? I guest so.
Let me just continue with my reading entry. Actually I read this sentence from my friend’s blog. After read about it, I remember that one of my friends at matriculation have got this sentence while she need to see our counselor. The sentence is’ “don’t love somebody over its limit because maybe one day you will hate him/her. Do not hate somebody over its limit because maybe one day the person you hate the most is the one you will love for your entire life”.
I really like this sentence, because for me it’s quite true. You know, when you hate someone over its limit. One day if they are nor around you will felt something wrong which means you start to miss them a lot. Moreover, when they always disturb you while they around. So, don’t hate them. For the one you love. Don’t ever love them over limit because maybe one day, when he did something you really don’t like you will hate them more than you hate your enemy. I’m strongly agreed with that sentence because I’ve felt it. I really miss my enemy at my secondary school. He always makes me angry and while I walked home alone he always disturbs me with his silly joke. I wonder what is he doing right now.. I think that’s all for now. Thanks.

  79. THE SEA FRIENDS

Dolphins are marine mammals that are closely related to whales and porpoises. There are almost forty species of dolphin in seventeen genera. They vary in size from 1.2 metres (4 ft) and 40 kilograms (88 lb) (Maui's Dolphins), up to 9.5 m (30 ft) and ten tonnes(the Orca or Killer Whale). They are found worldwide, mostly in the shallower seas of the continental shelves, and are carnivores, mostly eating fish and squid. The family Delphinidae is the largest in the Cetacea, and relatively recent: dolphins evolved about ten million years ago, during the Miocene. Dolphins are considered to be amongst the most intelligent of animals and their often friendly appearance and seemingly playful attitude have made them popular human culture. So what are your opinion about them.. nice right..

  80. Titanic

All of you must have look this film right??
but do all of you ever know about this film backgroud...if not..please read it..
Titanic is the best ever disaster film directed, written, co-produced and co-edited by James Cameron about the sinking of the RMS Titanic. It actor Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson, and it actress Kate Winslet as Rose DeWitt Bukater, two members of different social classes who fall in love aboard the ill-fated 1912 maiden voyage of the ship. The main characters and the central love story are fictional, but some supporting characters (such as members of the ship's crew) are based on real historical figures. Gloria Stuart plays the elderly Rose, who narrates the film in a modern day.

Production of the film began in 1995, when Cameron shot footage of the real wreck of the RMS Titanic. He envisioned the love story as a means to engage the audience with the real-life tragedy. Shooting took place at the Akademik Mstislav Keldysh for the modern scenes, and a reconstruction of the ship was built at Players de Rosarito, Baja California. Cameron also used scale models and computer-generated imaginary to recreate the sinking of the ship. Titanic became at the time the most expensive film ever made, costing approximately US$200 million with funding from Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox

Originally slated to be released on July 2, 1997, post-production delays pushed back the film's release date to December 19, 1997. After word broke out that Titanic's release date was pushed back, the press believed that Titanic would fail and cause the downfall of Fox and Paramount. Despite low expectations, the film was both a major critical and commercial success, winning eleven Academy Awards including Best Pictures and becoming the highest-grossing film of all time, with a total worldwide gross of approximately $1.8 billion (it is the sixth-highest grossing in North America once adjusted for inflation.

  81. Assalamualaikum. I want to share some information about soccer. Soccer is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players, and is widely considered to be the most popular sport in the world. It is a football variant played on a rectangular grass or artificial turf field, with a goal in the centre of each of the short ends. The object to keep the ball into the opposing goal. In general play, the goalkeepers are the only players allowed to use their hands or arms to propel the ball; the rest of the team usually use their feet to kick the ball into position, occasionally using their torso or head to intercept a ball in midair. The team that scores the most goals by the end of the match wins. If the score is tied at the end of the game, either a draw is declared or the game goes into extra time and/or a penalty shootout, depending on the format of the competition.
