  3. It seems everything start with a generous greet. So,first of all,a very good morning to everyone and welcome to this blog site.I believe i am well-known in my class but just in case there are possibilities for those students from other section who wish to get know further about me.

My full name is LEE WEI DE,for those who are close to me will just call me as wei de or vista. Why vista? This question will appear for those not in my class, this name created in my first introduction while i doing my first semester in first year. This name of "vista" was originally borrowed from name of windows vista. Why i borrow such a name? This is because windows vista providing a higher level security system in it`s operating system,so do i,since i had been training in martial art of taekwando. The purpose i learn taekwando is not to being a destructive monster but to be a crusader to protect my beloved one,i mean my beloved friends, just like what windows vista did in protecting it`s beloved program and files.

I believe some of the girls did not sharing their age here,so do i,because it`s sounds old for me.But i will let you all know one thing which is my birthday is on 14th of december, please do not forget about my present.

I believe some of you might need to know about my e-mail address, just in case to send me love letter or perhaps official letters, messengers and so on.So,here it goes (vdex1503@hotmail.com)

I think further details of me will be continue for our next conversation, perhaps in the messenger.I`ll be waiting for you.

  5. Assalamualaikum.

Doing Tell Me More (TMM) is the activity that I enjoyed most in the Technical Writing class. Last semester, we all have done this activity. Therefore, this is not the first time for me doing TMM. For this semester, our TMM looked like more to grammatical practise. Although it is a basic, I found it more difficult than I have aspected. From this, I know my weakness and I think I have to move a step forward in order to improve my grammar.
I hope by doing TMM, I can improve my grammar and write a good essay. That's all. Salam.

  6. Assalamualaikum and a very good day to all bloggers.

Last Wednesday, we started to do Tell Me More. For me, it’s an interesting activity and honestly I have been waiting for this time to come. It may look easy and childish but, I think this activity was held so that student would have a better understanding on grammar. Moreover, according to an experiments, a help of graphical and audio used during study session can give a stronger memory to the student. So, from my side of view, this activity really brings a lot of benefits to the user.
That’s all from me. See you next time.

this comments is about the compare and contrast activity that we do on the early semester until last week.Firstly,we do the venn diagram and then we do the movie maker project.I really enjoyed it because that was my first time use the movie maker application. But my group also encounter some problems when using the movie maker. We do not have enough time to make it.huuhu.
we struggled to finish in and lastly we can complete the task eventhough our movie is not interesting like anyone.

  10. Assalamualaikum and a very good morning.

For today's class, I have done with my Tell Me More(TMM)exercises on grammar workshop. The task is not difficult but I think I have make some mistakes while using TMM because although I've done all correctly, but I don't get the full marks! My friend, adeq abang also face the same situation. I hope for the next time, I'll be able to get full marks. This activity is really good to improve my grammar as I've said before. That's all for today. Thank you.

From my opinion, TELL ME MORE is an activity that is very good to improve our English language..
I have used TELL ME MORE last semester and I think this activities is quite interesting..
For the first time, it is hard to navigate with it but after I do it all the activities in TELL ME MORE, it is quite easy but for this semester I think it is more difficult.
I think this activities help me to improve my English because I know the correct pronounciation of words..Also grammar test can improve me in how to use words properly in sentences.
Using TELL ME MORE also give me some confident to speak up by using correct pronounciation of words and also improve my vocabulary.

  19. Good morning.
Once again I've been asking to use TMM again for this semester in order to practice my english.Since this semester I'm taking technical writing,as what I can see,the style of practices given to me majority are in typing format.
Some questions holded me for a while to guess out the correct term, perhaps this warning me that I'm lacking of vocabulary knowledge.Fortunately,I managed to finished it on time and the marks i lost wasn't that much, thank god for that.
In my opinion,I do agree that TMM is a useful tools in learning english. But the system too sensitive with the scheme answer, even a single fullstop missout it will judge me wrong. That's the problem holded me a while during I answering those questions.

  21. Good evening everyone,
Tell Me More (TMM) is an activity that can improved our language and skills in writing. Before this, I have already done TMM. There is no big different but this time the exercise is more on writing. Method that use by TMM is very efficient. It helps us know our mistake in the same time correct the mistake. This might help us to understand the situation. Furthermore, I enjoy doing speaking practice because the situation is like a real situation happen in front of me. It is easier than sentence practice. Even though, I cannot finish it but I learn a lot. The exercises is not too hard but need us to use are brain a lot. In my opinion, this Activity is very useful student in University. It is also suitable for student in secondary school to use in their study. It use simple English and easy to understand it. Moreover, TMM have example for every question. I really hope it can help me improve my English and my language.

    salam and good day...

TELL ME MORE(TMM) has come back!!!...for me TMM activity is a good activity for student to improve their grammar skills especially in this semester subject which students are required to deal with grammar a lot in writing report...personally, TMM has improved me on using the basic grammar such as past tense, present tense, present perfect tense and etc...before this, whenever I do essay or report I do not think much of the grammar as long as it sounds nice to say it is enough for me...but now, I know a little bit the important of using correct grammar at suitable place...this will help me more when I have work in the future...

  33. Good morning everyone, how are you today?Fell well? So,right now I'm currrently doing the feedback for the blogspot.I'm currently doing the comparison part. For the comparison,I choose comparion between boys and girls.Well I'm a boy. So,this is my opinion about it.Moms and dads often say that they tried to provide the same experiences for their boys and girls but that the responses are different based on gender. When given a doll, many boys choose to use it as a hammer or weapon, whereas girls tend to feed and nurture the doll. These differences have led parents and teachers to believe that there may be biological differences between boys and girls even when the environmental conditions are similar. In the book, Boys and Girls learn Differently: A Guide for Teachers and Parents, the author offers an explanation to teachers' and parents' observations of differences between boys and girls. The author, Michael Gurian, also discusses the evolution of these differences in terms of male and female brain development. Some of the differences he describes are already familiar to us. For instance, girls are more able to engage in multi-task behavior, use both sides of the brain when processing information, hear better and are more physically active. He also includes information we are less familiar with, such as boys may take more time in processing emotive information, thus making it more difficult for boys to quickly adjust after engaging in stressful or emotionally charged situations. This lag time can interfere with the learning process for boys.So as a conclusion, boy and girls are different because they tend to express emotions differently. Boys hold back they're emotions til they explode. Girls however tend to express themselves so the percentage of exploding is however NOT HIGH ENOUGH TO ACTIVATE.

Assalamualaikum and very good day to all..

Tell Me More..hmmm..for me, it is the most interesting activity in this subject. We can talk, write and sometimes play like a puzzle..hehe...just kidding..sorry if you don’t understand what I mean..huhu..but I think the Tell Me More for this semester is quiet hard compared with the last semester. Maybe because for the last semester, I just play around the beginning level but for this semester we jump to the intermediate level and advanced level. Other than that, maybe because of I lack of skills in writing. But it’s all okay because I can do it well.

Lastly, thanks to Madam Noor Azlinda for this opportunity and I think this activity more improve me in grammar and writing for this semester. That’s all for my comment, thank you.

  36. Hello everybody,
I'm so glad that i get the opportunity to do tell me more again. i just love doing it. Since i am taking Techincal Writing this year, so the activities that i should complete in Tell Me More will be more on grammar. i have only one pronounciation activity this semester. I still remember how my classmates and I have a hard time doing the pronouciation activity. Some of us have to pronounce the same word over and over again to get it correct. In this semester, the activities get tougher since we are doing the advance and advance plus module. But i still have a great time doing it. I just can't wait for the next TMM activities next semester. Thank you. (^_*)

    How are you today?

So,right now I'm currrently doing the feedback for the blogspot.I'm currently doing the comparison part. For the comparison,I choose comparion between monkey and ape.
Well, firstly, most monkey species have a tail while the ape species possess a tail.Secondly, the monkeys is not capable of using their arms to swing between branches while the ape can swing between trees like human by using their shoulder.Third, most of monkey is small in size then the ape larger than monkey.
Fourth, monkey use their tail as a fifth limb while the ape use their foot for the movement.Fifth, monkey ideally suited for life in the treetops while the ape evolved to life comfortably on the ground or in trees.Sixth, monkey are more similar with primitive prosimians in brain capacityand capabilities while the ape species closer to human counterparts, able to learn form of sign language, use tools, and display problem solving.Lastly, the monkey species less similar with human genetic while the apes are 98 percent genetic match with human.

So,that all the comparison between the Monkey and Apes species.Thanks.

  39. Salam and a very good day to everyone!!
For this time,I would like to tell all of you about diffrencess between male and female. Everyone already know that one of the different between male and female can see from the vocabulary,right??haha...now,i would like to share with all of you about 19 basic different male and female from my readings...
19 basic differences between the sexes
    1. Right down to every last gene the sexes are unique: (XX,XY chromosome) Male and female as separate acts of creation!
    2. Studies have proven that differences are neurological and genetic in origin and are highly resistant to change by the influences of culture. Men and women are the same the world over!
    3. Socializing: Whether tennis or cards: women often use the event as an excuse for fellowship and pleasant conversation. For men, the name of the game is conquest.
    4. A man's world is focused outside the home in work and recreation. A women's world is strongly focused within the home and on family.
    5. Self-esteem: Men develop the evidence of their worthiness primarily from their jobs, being respected in business, profession or craft. Women, and especially homemakers, depend primarily on the romantic relationship with their husbands for ego support. This explains why the emotional content of a marriage is usually more important to women and why the little tokens of affection are appreciated more by wives, who obtain esteem from these expressions of love and generosity.
    6. Women need continual reassurance from their husband that they are loved, needed and valued. Because men do not need this kind of reassurance from their wives, they often fail to see their wife's need for it and neglect to give it. The wife then develops a feeling of being "unloved and unvalued", which the husband will assure is unfounded.
    7. Women tend to remember anniversary dates and birthdays. Men tend to remember dates like when the mortgage payment is due and feel their wife gets "overly upset" if they forget the anniversary.
    8. Mothers become emotionally attached to their children prior to birth by the virtue of carrying the child in her body. Men do not become emotionally bonded to the child for several months after the birth when the infant begins to smile, respond and interact with him.
    9. Sexual arousal: Men are visually oriented, caring less about the romantic component or personal identity. Men can easily separate love and sex. She is attracted not to a photograph of an unknown model or by a handsome stranger, but to a particular man with whom she has entered into an emotional relationship. Women usually combine love and sex.
    10. Men do not have as strong a desire and need for stability, security and enduring relationships as women do.
    11. Women experience emotional influences that men do not because of the reproductive capacity: (cycles, pregnancy, lactation, menopause)
    12. At a birthday party of five year olds, its not usually the girls who pull hair, throw punches or smear each other with food.
    13. The play habits of young girls is almost exclusively in real life domestic situations, playing house, school etc. In contrast, young boy's play is usually in the fantasy world, blasting Martians with a laser gun to save the world.
    14. In a time of crisis, women tend to react with reference to their feelings. Men tend not to react with reference to feelings but with deducted thought and reason. God may have placed man as the head of his wife because of this one God-ordained difference between the sexes.
    15. In our material society, we place a higher value on the quality of being a "rational calculator" for it is this quality which is necessary for success in business and making money. Yet this quality is of little value for the happiness of the home. So while the man may be better equipped to lead and support the family, it is the woman who is better equipped to keep the family itself happy and emotionally healthy. The sexes are equal, but different.
    16. Women are usually credited with possessing "mothers intuition" in regard to not just her children but all personal relationships. She may not be able to explain it, but she has a feeling about the situation that the man does not. She is usually right! Yet while she may be single-handedly responsible for sensing the situation, the man can usually chose the most appropriate course of action.
    17. Husbands and wives have qualities the other does not. Each has qualities the other needs. The two are one flesh, a unit, incomplete without the other. Society places much greater value on the masculine qualities. This has driven many women to feel "unfulfilled" in the home environment. Many women, being influenced by society and the images of TV, do not feel valued unless they are working outside the home for money. They would feel ashamed to be "just a housewife". This is very sad indeed.
    18. School: Boys tend to excel girls in math and science subjects. Girls tend to excel boys in English and arts subjects.
    19. Women possess a strong "maternal instinct" that men do not.
I think, that’s all..Hope all this things can increased our knowledge.

Now,i think... i would to share about the happiness.Everyone in the world wants their life full of happiness every time. When we are happy, everything that what we are going to do can do better. If we are not happy,it wil caused our work stopped, cannot finish our work on time, and many more..Everywhere we are going,we should be a happy person. So,everyone can easy to get closed with us.So,here..i want to share with all of you,how to keep happy at the home...From my reading also,to keep feel at the home,it have four key.
The first and most important of these is LOVE.In a family,we have to love each other. If one the member of our family got a problem,we can settle it together. So that,we likes help each other..It is because of love. Then from that, everyone can happy...
The second key word to happiness is FAITH. Faith, in all its aspects trust, confidence, reliance brings happiness. If a home is to be happy parents must conduct themselves in such a way that they can have implicit faith in each other and inspire such faith also in their children. If parents by their lives show their loyalty to God and his nature, they instinctively win the confidence of their children, and children likewise hold the confidence of their parents. They believe in one another.
The third key word to happiness is SELF-DISCIPLINE. Self-discipline is acquired only gradually and sometimes painfully through external discipline. A generation ago we entered the age of permissiveness, when children were allowed to make their own decisions, do their own thing.
Self-discipline is acquired only gradually and sometimes painfully through external discipline. A generation ago we entered the age of permissiveness, when children were allowed to make their own decisions, do their own thing. Today psychiatrists are almost universally agreed that instead of making children happier, this permissiveness has been a tragedy for both children and parents. It has led to drinking, drug abuse, crime, broken homes, and an alarming increase in teen-age suicides. Until children reach enough maturity in judgement and character to administer self-discipline, they must be guided by their parents.

The fourth, key word to happiness is RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsibility grows naturally out of the first three. If a home is filled with love, with mutual confidence and trust, and has had the guidance and correction necessary to develop self-discipline, the natural result is a recognition of responsibility. Each member of the family feels a responsibility to the others, a responsibility to merit confidence and truth, a responsibility to keep one's promises, to carry out duties and assignments. As this sense of responsibility becomes a habit, it carries over to those outside the family, to employers, associates, and friends.
When the members of a family have little or no confidence in each other, when they can seldom depend on their doing what they are supposed to do, you have the making of inevitable unhappiness and tragedy. But when the members of a family have full confidence in each other, and when through self-discipline they have formed the habit of responsibility, you have the sure foundation, not only of a happy family, but of successful lives.

    Compare and contrast???

As our teacher teach us... There are three strategies to organize comparison and contrast papers... Firstly, Whole-to-Whole, or Block. In this structure, we say everything about one item then everything about the other. Whole-to-whole comparison and contrast uses a separate section or paragraph for each item that is discussed. Secondly, Similarities-to-Differences. In this structure, we explain all the similarities about the item being compared and then we explain all the differences. In the next section, we could explain that the settings we different. Lastly, Point-by-Point. In this structure, we explain one point of comparison before before moving to the next point. Point-by-Point comparison and contrast uses a separate section or paragraph for each point. Our teacher ask us to formed a group and discuses about this. She also give us a strategies how to do compare and contrast. Our group need to use Whole-to-Whole strategies. We need to do this in the power point slide and present it in front of our classmates. So, we decided to give a task for everyone in our group members. My task is to generate the first paragraph. From this, i can improve my skills and my knowledge in this subject.

    Thats all from me... Thanks!!

Have a nice day to all bloggers!!!!!!

This is about the compare and contrast activity that we do on the early semester. As I understand what I had learned, there are two ways we can make a compare and contrast. First is table way and the second is a venn diagram way. Also, there are three strategies to organize comparison and contrast papers.Firstly, Whole-to-Whole, or Block. In this structure, we say everything about one item then everything about the other.Secondly, Similarities-to-Differences. In this structure, we explain all the similarities about the item being compared and then we explain all the differences.Lastly, Point-by-Point. In this structure, we explain one point of comparison before before moving to the next point.

After do the compare and contrast actvity, I can improve one of important skills in english.
    That all..Thank you..

  45. Good morning everyone, I’m currently using Dell Inspiron 1420 and I’m considering to buying a new laptop. So far Dell XPS M1730 offering the best specifications among all models available in Dell. So today I will do a comparison of laptop between model Dell Inspiron 14th editions and Dell XPS M1730.

When we doing comparisons, we should come out with similarities and differences between objects we are comparing. For the similarities by part, both model offering same part of gadgets such as 2GB of RAM, 250GB memory of hard disk, and DVD burner. For the differences, Dell 14th edition only offering Genuine Windows vista home basic as the operating system, 14.1 inches of the screen, and Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T6400 (2GHz) for the processor. Meanwhile, Dell XPS M1730 offering Genuine Windows vista home Premium as the operating system, 17 inches of the screen with TruemLifetm effect, and Intel® Centrino® Processor Technology- Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T8300 (2.40GHz)

When we compare their specification, we will find out that Dell XPS M1730 operating much faster than Dell Inspiron 14th editions. Besides, Dell XPS M1730 also offering much sharper than Dell Inspiron 14th editions in terms of the graphical effects. The only thing to hold me for second thought is the weight. Since Dell XPS M1730 is bigger than Dell Inspiron 14th editions in terms of size, the weight of Dell XPS M1730 (4.81 kg) is much heavier comparing with Dell Inspiron 14th editions (2.11 kg).

As a conclusion, by doing compare and contrast we will get to know which is better and which is not. At last, I will safe my money for the next better model since even Dell XPS M1730 could not offer me the ideal specification yet.

Assalamualaikum and have a good day to all of you.
Today, I would like to do comparison between badminton and tennis.
When we doing comparisons, we should come out with similarities and differences between objects we are comparing. There are many differences and similarities between badminton and tennis. The equipment for tennis is different from badminton. Tennis uses a racquet with a medium sized head but badminton uses a racquet with a very small head with a very long neck. The tennis rackets are considerably larger than badminton rackets, with a 110-square-inch surface versus the badminton racket's 56-square-inch surface. The objects hit across the net couldn't be any more different, either. Badminton uses a shuttlecock, which is a small cork with goose feathers, sometimes made of plastic, attached to it in a cone-like fashion. Tennis utilizes a rubber ball covered with felt. The way that we play also different, Tennis play on a court with a tennis ball the object of the game is to hit the ball over the net and to not let our opponent win the point while badminton use a shuttlecock it isn't allowed to touch the ground. The net in badminton court is about the height of volleyball net compared to tennis where the net is about 3 ft. tall. The courts for badminton are much smaller than tennis courts. Badminton courts measure 20 feet by 17 feet, with a net height of around 5 feet. Tennis courts, however, are 78 feet by 27 feet, or 78 feet by 36 feet during doubles matches. The net height, however, is only 3 feet.

Tennis and badminton are both played on an open court that uses a net, but the net in badminton is a few feet off the ground and of course the shuttlecock has a very different feel than a tennis ball. Tennis is more left and right movement while Badminton is moving all around, left right frontward and backward. Tennis is slower in both movement of the player and ball speed. A badminton smash was recorded at over 200mph while a tennis serve was recorded at around 160 mph. Badminton is more about lean, fast twitching muscles. Both tennis and badminton are Olympic sports with a few similarities. Both use a stretched net across four service courts, two on each side of the net. Both use rackets to propel the ball or shuttle across the net. They also both can be played as women's sports, men's sports or mixed sports. Beyond that, badminton and tennis differ quite significantly.
As a conclusion, by doing compare and contrast we will get to know about badminton and tennis. That all from me, thank you.

This is about compare and contrast. I want to share about MacBook vs. Dell XPS M1330.The MacBook is Apple's most mainstream laptop, and Dell's XPS M1330 seems to be a reasonable counterpart. Both have 13.3-inch displays and built-in Webcams, and are aimed at general-purpose users who like multimedia features.

I configured online a MacBook and Dell XPS M1330 with specs as closely matched as possible. Both had 2GB of memory, a 160GB hard drive running at 5400 rpm, a 2.4-GHz Intel Core Duo 2 processor, Intel integrated graphics media accelerator (X3100), and Bluetooth 2.0. I chose the Dell 56Whr battery option (an extra $79), which is comparable to the MacBook's standard 55Whr battery. I also added the $99 optional bundle of Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements to the Dell laptop. The MacBook ships with Apple's iPhoto and iMovie applications, part of its iLife suite, at no extra cost. The Dell laptop that I configured cost $1308. The MacBook was $1299.
So, the winner is Apple but it is your choice.
    That all..thank you

Assalamualaikum and good day to Madam Noor Azlinda Binti Zainal Abidin and all my friends.
Now, I want to give my opinion about the video clip. Actually, the video clip cannot open but I try to ask my roommate about that video clip.
Honestly I say that I don’t really understand about the video clip that I was watching in the class before.
So, I watch it again and again but I’m still cannot understand what it is about. Actually, the lyrics and what the person in video clip’s saying are not to clear. Although it has the subtitle but it is too fast.
So, I’m only makes my assumption what the guy that lying on the side walk said. I try to guess it but I don’t know whether it true or not.
At the first I think that the guy is crazy because he lying on the side walk. Why not he just go home and lying on the bed. It’s more comfortable than lying on the ground.
But when I’m thinking it’s again I think maybe he want to relax and don’t want any person touch or help him. This video is weird when all the people were lying on the side walk too. I don’t know what that guy said to that people. I think he told to the other people just relax and do like him.
I know maybe certain of you will say that this is the stupid idea but I don't have the idea anymore. So, anyone who know the answer please tell to me.
    Thank you.
